A few ways to join in

    Talks

    15 minutes to share an idea, a process, or a story from your practice.

  2. 02

    Workshops

    90 minutes of hands-on exploration in the Future Sketches Space.

  3. 03

    Screen artwork

    A browser-based sketch or digital work for the online gallery and atrium display. Remote submissions welcome.

  4. 04

    Physical artwork

    An installation, an object, or an experiment that belongs off screen.

  5. 05

    Performances

    Live coding, audiovisual experiments, and other ways to make code come alive.

You don’t need to be an expert.

We welcome first-time presenters, experienced makers, and everyone in between. Processing, p5.js, or another creative coding tool — bring the approach that feels like you.

A few things you might be wondering.

Do I need to attend in person?

No. You can participate remotely through screen artwork. Talks, workshops, performances, and physical installations are intended for the in-person event.

Can I submit from outside Boston?

Yes. Screen artwork can be submitted from anywhere and included in the online exhibition and atrium display.

Do I need experience with Processing?

No. All experience levels are welcome. We care about your curiosity and what you want to share.

Can I submit unfinished work?

Yes. Experiments and works in progress are welcome. Tell us where your idea is now and what you plan to share on the day.
